Baltimore, MD - March 2 - March 5

We are excited to see everyone in the Charm City (Baltimore) from Saturday, March 2 at 4:00 pm (3:00 pm if you are a first-timer) to Tuesday, March 5 at 1:00 pm for an inspiring, thought-provoking, and relationship-building conference! 

 

This conference brings together PEP-RJ members from congregations across North America with nationally recognized presenters in all relevant areas of our work: engagement, membership, programming, and communications. We are fortunate to have such a great team partnering with the co-chairs to plan our annual conference.  They are working hard to create a vibrant gathering with relevant, dynamic speakers and diverse sessions.

Brief Conference Details:

  • Our conference begins on Saturday, March 2 at 4:00 pm (3:00 pm if you are a first time conference participant), with community building, a social action project, dinner, and Havdalah in the inner Harbor. 

  • Sunday, we will spend the day at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation focused on our own growth and building our own professional toolbox.  

  • Monday (also at BHC), we will turn our work to focus on new ideas and best practices to bring back to strengthen our congregations. 

  • Tuesday morning, we gather at the hotel, allowing us one last time to reflect on the last few days with our colleagues and share additional best practices before heading back home armed and prepared to share our new ideas and tools with our congregations. 

  • A more detailed schedule will be shared closer to the conference.

Note: If you are unsure of your current membership status, click here. For those who are not current members, the non-member conference rate includes membership for the rest of the fiscal year (through June 30). 

Registration Fee:

The Conference Registration Fee covers all meals, materials, and inner-conference transportation. It does not include your transfers to/from the airport or your hotel stay.

 

This year’s conference program reflects our commitment to providing members with a best-in-class professional development experience. The actual cost of the conference is $575 per person and we are offering lower pricing options subsidized by PEP-RJ to reduce financial barriers. If you are able, please consider paying the general or non-subsidized rate. Day rates are available for Sunday and Monday for local PEP-RJ members who cannot attend the full conference. The cost includes lunch, but not dinner.

 

  • $450: PEP-RJ Member Early Bird by Friday, Jan. 12

  • $500: PEP-RJ Member General after Friday, Jan. 12

  • $575: PEP-RJ Member Unsubsidized

  • $600: Non-Member (includes membership through June 30, 2024)

  • $180: Day rate for Sunday OR Monday

 

If you need to apply for financial assistance, you can indicate so on the registration form. Someone will be in touch about the financial assistance process once your form is received.

 

Hotel Information and Registration

The conference hotel is the Delta Hotel Baltimore North. We have a special room rate of $149 per room per night.

Note: This hotel is guaranteeing PEP-RJ members the group rate before the conference starts for those who would like to arrive early or stay after and explore Baltimore. Please "Edit Stay" and update the dates based on your stay. 

Air Travel (BWI airport)

For those who are flying:

  • Please arrive by 1:00 pm on Saturday (noon if you’re a first-timer) so you will have time to check into the hotel before heading to the Inner Harbor for our first program. 

  • Please book a flight that departs after 4:00 pm on Tuesday.
